• CJSW reviewed the album and said "...a psychedelic pop feel plus a twinge of folk, yet somehow also reminiscent of the mellower tracks of early Gorillaz, followed by Radiohead vibes...." and there was "...joy you find when you cross paths with this album."

• The Cups N Cakes Network named the album a quick pick on Sept. 29 and said it was "psych folk at its most commanding."

• Irregular Dreams called "needle and thread" one of the hottest songs of July and then reviewed the album and said it was a "gothic blend of folk and psychedelia. It’s an overall haunting but satisfying experience."

• CBC's Key of A featured the song, "spinach dip" on Oct. 7 2023.
